Our story

Our story

Farming runs deep in our family's roots. My father began farming in Australia in the 1970s, shortly after migrating from Pyrgos, Ilia, Greece. Having grown up on a farm, he carried with him a passion for agriculture, and it wasn’t long before my grandmother suggested he plant pistachios. She noticed the striking similarities between the climate here—hot, dry summers and cool winters—and the conditions back home in Greece, where pistachios thrived. Today, those very trees continue to flourish on our family farm.

Pistachios are more than just a delicious snack; they are a powerhouse of nutrition. Rich in essential amino acids, they surpass other nuts like almonds, hazelnuts, pecans, and walnuts in protein content, making them an excellent choice for vegans and vegetarians. They’re also high in fiber and prebiotics, promoting gut health, while their heart-friendly properties help lower blood pressure and cholesterol.
